Brianna is on the Jag Team at school, She welcomed the incoming 10th graders the first day of school, they will have different activities through out the year.

She also tried out for the first school play- she finds out tomorrow if she is in it.

Patrick is building a rock wall in his yard, Luke came down to help, Patrick said that every time he looked up he had taken another piece of clothing off-first his hat then sunglasses then socks and shoe them his shirt-funny boy. Luke loves spending time with his Uncle Pat, last week they made and decorated a cake. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. It was quite interesting!(But it was yummy)

Well Brianna and Donna are back to school and Scott has one more week working in Mossy Rock, Things have been going pretty smooth with everyone going there different directions. It sure was hard to get up and going those first few days. Here just a few random pictures.

Here's Brianna ready to start 11th grade at Emerald Ridge high school, I was sharing with her that I can remember when I was a Junior in high school.

I was dating her future dad, Scott.

Jennifer was involved in her school activities and was enjoying being Brianna's big sister.

Joey was having fun playing football at Rogers high school and was also dating his future wife, Heidi.

Patrick was also enjoying playing football for Rogers and enjoyed the social activities of high school.

And, I don't know what Scott was doing when he was a Junior, but I am sure he was home dreaming of meeting me, so we could get married.

We Survived the Orting Trail!

We went on a bike ride on the Orting Trail today.

Joey and Heidi have been married for five years today.

It was quite an exciting day. We bought a bike trailer for the kids to ride in, Molly wasn't sure about it at first and Luke wanted to ride his own bike.(until he go tired).

Poor Brianna tried to go around a lady that stopped on the trail with her dogs, when a man came flying by her. Next thing we we knew Brianna was crashing into a stinging nettle bush, OUCH. The funny thing was that I had just brushed up against some, and Brianna said "Wouldn't that be terrible if you fell into it?" AND then she did!

The rest of the ride went good. It was beautiful out, we saw a bald eagle fly over the river.

Then we played in the park for awhile, had lunch at McDonalds and came home. Fun!

Over all we had a fun time and it was a beautiful day!!

Luke called last night and asked if I would give him a hair cut. So he came over and I cut it short! Then after a bath he ate a popcycle and watched Pinks(car's racing) for a little bit with Papa.

New Room

Brianna enjoying her new room

Brianna left for girls camp on August 11th. She had a great time being a YCL this year it hard to believe that this was her 5th year going. She did have one not so good time-getting car sick on the way home, she gets that from me. It was the first year that I did not go with her. I stayed home alone because Scott was also out of town for the week. So I decided to surprise Brianna and paint and redecorate her room. I was a little nervous because she isn't much of a pink person(her room was bright blue and green), and I went with a pink and brown theme. I painted a couple of the walls, got new bedding and bought new dressers. She came home and loved it(Yeah!).

Brianna spent yesterday reading the forth Stephenie Meyer book, Breaking Dawn.

She borrowed it from Heidi at noon yesterday and knew she had to give it back today at noon, so she read most of the day, she did take a break to go get her hair cut and to go to YW.

She read until midnight and woke up and finished it by 9am. Brianna said it was definitely worth reading, and would recommend it to her friends!

She had about 6 inches of her hair cut off, for her new look.

soon she'll have school books to read, I hope she is as dedicated to reading those!

We start back on September 3rd, but we are trying to not think about it quite yet.
