The dance preview went really well, they still have a few weeks to practice before the real thing in the Tacoma Dome. It was over 90 degrees and we felt so bad for the kids in their costumes, but they did a good job! We stopped at a little ice-cream stand in Sumner and got cones to eat on the way home. And then Brianna came home and jumped in the shower and headed back out to the dance. I don't know how they keep going, but I am not 16 anymore either. Brianna leaves for EFY tomorrow morning and we pick her up on Saturday. It will be a little lonely around here with her gone, but Scott took Thursday and Monday off and he has Friday off, so we will have a long weeek-end.
Brianna has her Dance Festival Preview today, they had to wear their hair up and curled, so I got to curl her hair. Fun!! She hasn't let me do that in a while. It is very hot today and the practice is outside from 1-5pm, I hope she does not melt! We are going to watch the preview from 5-6pm.

Scott celebrated his 50th birthday on Fathers Day. Brianna made him breakfast in bed, his favorite "French Toast". Later in the afternoon we had the kids and Grandma Pat over for a big dinner celebration, lots of food and fun, and of course all the black decorations. The kids all went in on 4 tickets for Scott and the boys to go see ZZ Top. Scott is looking forward to it. He also got a ZZ Top CD, a movie, some new clothes and a new model rocket. After dinner we went to the park to shoot rockets off, we had a lot of fun and only lost two rockets. We had a great day celebrating Scott!!
Molly goes solo on the Ninja. She got the Go down but still needs a bit of practice on the Turning and Stopping. She loved riding it and was sad when it was time to stop. Luke had another fun soccer game today, he did a few cartwheels during the game.
